Oxford Digital Festival
Unlocking AI across Oxford in teaching, research, and administration.
The Oxford Digital Festival celebrates the people, ideas and digital innovation shaping the future of the University of Oxford. Bringing together colleagues from across teaching, research and administration, this one-day festival showcases practical digital work, sparks new conversations, and creates space to share learning across the collegiate University.
Since its first event in 2023, the festival has highlighted how digital approaches are supporting collaboration, creativity and service improvement across Oxford. Recent festivals have featured topics including artificial intelligence, the future of education, sustainable computing, the modern workplace and digital innovation in research and professional services.
The festival has a year off in 2026 but will be back again at Rhodes House, Oxford, in November 2027. Watch out for further information here.

Oxford Digital Festival 2025 highlights
The Oxford Digital Festival 2025 focused on AI in teaching, research and administration, with keynote sessions from Professor Anne Trefethen, from Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Digital), and Chancellor Lord William Hague and David White, Chief Digital and Information Officer.
Oxford Digital Festival 2024 highlights
Once again gathering over 100 digital innovators from across Oxford, the Oxford Digital Festival 2024 featured plenary talks from Hannah Christensen, Associate Professor in Physical Climate, Mark Bjornsgaard, Chief Executive Officer of Deep Green Technologies, and a panel on the future of education with Professor Anne Trefethen, former Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Digital), Kate Maxwell (Microsoft), Valerie Singer (AWS), and Adele Every (Cisco).
Oxford Digital Festival 2023 highlights
The first Digital Festival aimed to inspire colleagues about the potential of digital Oxford. Featuring plenary sessions from Professor Anne Trefethen, former Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Digital), Paul Drayton, Tony Martin, and Sheryl Wiley from Laing O’Rourke, and Professor Brent Mittelstadt, Professor Alison Noble and Professor Mike Osborne.
