Alumni Online Account
From this account, you can update your contact details, manage your communication preferences and access electronic journals via JSTOR.
How can I set up an account?
- Find or request your Alumni Number
You’ll need it to create your online account. Your alumni number can be found at the footer of any email you’ve received from the Oxford Alumni team. It’s formatted 8–XXXXXXXX. If you don’t have it, request it by filling in this form. - Create an online account
Create an account. You'll need your Alumni Number, college and matriculation year details. - Log in to your account
Sign in to your online account to update your contact details and manage your email subscriptions.
Alumni Card
Your alumni card gives you access to a range of exclusive benefits and offers, including discounts at local Oxford businesses and entry to colleges and libraries.
There are two levels of affiliation – alumni and associate. You can check your eligibility here.
How can I get an alumni card?
- Log in to your alumni online account
- Select the 'I want to' menu
- Select 'Request My Oxford Card'
- Review the details that your card will contain and where it will be sent, and select 'Submit request'
How long will it take?
Cards can take up to one month to be delivered from the time of your request. This may be longer if your address is international. Cards will be sent via Royal Mail second class.
If you are visiting Oxford and require a card more urgently, you can contact us to request one for collection from University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JD.
Please note that we require at least three working days' notice to produce cards for in-person collection. Cards can be collected Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Using your alumni card
Your alumni card is a symbol of your affiliation with the University and can be used as proof when required to obtain benefits and services provided by the University, or offers and discounts negotiated by Development and Alumni Engagement.
Your card is not proof of current membership of the University and cannot be used to directly access the Bodleian Libraries or other University buildings (alumni access to colleges excepted). Find out how to access the Bodleian.
Your card is restricted to your use only and may not be transferred to others so they can access benefits or assume affiliation with the University.
Continued misuse of the benefits associated with the alumni card could result in withdrawal of these benefits and loss of other services provided by Development and Alumni Engagement.
