Wellbeing and community
Everyone wants to feel that they belong and can be themselves, and Oxford takes the wellbeing of all its students very seriously. All our undergraduates belong to a college which means that you will have your own close-knit community from day one. You will also have lots of opportunities to join groups, societies and campaigns that celebrate the diversity of our community as well as promote change.

Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences - something we value and celebrate. We recognise that everyone arrives in Oxford from a different starting point and our wellbeing and community support is here to help you feel healthy, connected and valued throughout your time here.
We offer a wide range of services to support your wellbeing, help you settle in, manage your finances, and feel part of our welcoming community. You’ll find guidance on who to turn to when you need any kind of help, as well as information on opportunities to get involved through clubs, societies, and shared interests. At Oxford, students play an active role in shaping their University and influencing change so make sure you know how to ensure your voice is heard.
We also support your academic progress and future plans, with extensive resources for study skills, careers, and internships - helping you make the most of your time here and beyond.
We are here to help you thrive, feel a sense of belonging and build a strong foundation for your future.
