Specialists in our Cyber Security unit are dedicated to identifying and managing cyber risks to protect people, information and digital services across our collegiate University community.

Cyber security plays an important role in protecting the people, information and digital services that enable Oxford's academic mission. It helps the University community to work, learn and collaborate securely, whilst safeguarding systems and data that support effective teaching, research and administration. 

Cyber security specialists across the University work together to identify and manage risks, monitor emerging threats, and respond effectively to incidents. They ensure that critical services remain secure, resilient and available for the staff and students who rely on them.
 
Oxford's approach to cyber security balances effective protection with the values of collaboration, partnership and the open exchange of knowledge and ideas.
