Graduate Application Form Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to the University of Oxford's Graduate Application form, which is powered by the eVision web platform.

The Graduate Application Form

The Graduate Application Form is run by the University of Oxford. We want as many people as possible to be able to use the form. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast, and line spacing; and
  • navigate the form using the keyboard.

We’ve also made the form's text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet provides advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability. In addition, major operating systems produce the following guidance:

How accessible is the Graduate Application Form?

We know some parts of the Graduate Application Form are not fully accessible:

  • on some pages zooming in will cause text spillage off the screen; and
  • the Graduate Application Form PDF is not accessible to a screen reader.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

We want our Graduate Application Form to offer the best experience possible for all of our users. In addition to implementing fixes for the issues identified, we are working in several other ways:

  • we have asked AbilityNet to perform an accessibility audit of the form;
  • we plan to train members of the University's Student Systems Team in how make accessible content; and
  • we are revising our software development workflow to ensure that new functionality is designed, developed and tested with accessibility in mind.

How to provide feedback or make a complaint

Please contact us using our online help service if you have an accessibility query, including if you:

  • are experiencing issues with accessing information or using the Graduate Application Form;
  • find an accessibility problem not listed on this statement; and/or
  • have positive feedback on the accessibility considerations made.

Enforcement procedure

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the ‘accessibility regulations’).
