The Summer Internship Programme advertises hundreds of paid or funded summer internships with UK and international organisations across a wide variety of sectors. These internships offer full time work for 2-12 weeks during the summer vacation to University of Oxford students. Read more about the Summer Internship Programme.
You can use this webpage to quickly access opportunities in your sector of interest. All internships available through the Summer Internship Programme are detailed in full on CareerConnect, where applications can be submitted. Once logged in, go to "Internship Office and Skills Programmes" on your dashboard. You can then select the option either to search Internship Office and Skills Programmes (which then enables you to filter by location, sector, etc.), or see the Programme List.
Summer internship applications
Here are the key application dates for the 2027 Summer Internship Programme:
- Round 1: International internships - advertised 18 January, deadline 15 February.
- Round 2: UK internships - advertised 16 February, deadline 15 March.
- Round 3: International and UK internships - advertised 16 March, deadline 12 April.
- Round 4: International and UK internships - advertised 13 April, deadline 3 May.
- Round 5: International and UK internships - advertised 4 May, deadline 24 May.

Eligibility
The Summer Internship Programme is open to current, matriculated Oxford University students (both undergraduates and postgraduates), including those in their final year of study and suspended students.
Please note that MBA and EMBA students are not eligible to apply for Internship Office Programmes and are encouraged to access opportunities through the Saïd Business School Career Development Centre. Visiting students are also not eligible to apply.
