Oxford for Yorkshire and the Humber
At Oxford, we have a successful history of broadening access to the University by building links with schools across the UK. We are now launching a new website to encourage students from across Yorkshire and Humberside to make competitive applications for courses that inspire them at Oxford and other leading universities.
Oxford for Yorkshire and the Humber brings together Brasenose, Mansfield and Worcester colleges with support from Magdalen college. Together, the outreach teams in these colleges will work with pupils, teachers and families to provide free support where it’s needed, from helping to raise attainment to offering professional advice about applying to university.
This website provides an overview of the college outreach available for students and schools across Yorkshire and Humberside. It includes online resources and national programmes as well as projects and activities run by other colleges and also Oxford University departments.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the University has temporarily suspended face-to-face outreach activities. Oxford remains strongly committed to providing the best opportunities for you to discover what it is like to study here. As a result we have been developing digital outreach experiences, including our digital resource hub and our Virtual Open Days. We have also created a newsletter for prospective applicants so if you would like to receive tips, advice and the latest news on our admissions, please sign-up.
As the UK emerges from covid restrictions, we look forward to resuming in person outreach activities. In the meantime, events to continue to take place online in the 2020/21 academic year, and we will share updates with you as they become available. In the meantime, please do everything you can to stay well and we hope to welcome you on a visit to Oxford soon.
