Staff request for access to Careers
The standard Careers, University of Oxford offer of advice and guidance on careers is available to all research staff employed on a contract at grades 6 to 8 for the duration of their contract and for 12 months post-contract.
If you are currently on a grade 6-8 fixed-term research contract at Oxford University
You automatically have access to Careers provision, and do not need to fill in the form below. Please register directly for a CareerConnect account on the CareerConnect Registration Page so that you can see our events calendar, register for workshops, book a one-to-one appointment etc.
Other research staff at Oxford University
We have very limited capacity to offer careers support to university staff and associates beyond our official remit. If you are seeking assistance but fall outside the target groups*, your first point of call for careers advice should be the extensive resources available on the Careers Support for Researchers webpages and elsewhere.

*Careers is no longer issuing departmental staff accounts for CareerConnect. This is as a result of the incredibly limited functionality of these accounts. We recommend Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD), as they have some courses you may find helpful.
