The Crankstart Careers Mentoring Programme
The Crankstart Careers Mentoring Programme gives University of Oxford Crankstart Scholars the opportunity to gain insights into an industry or sector, reflect on their career goals, and build confidence with the support of an experienced professional acting as their mentor.
Crankstart Scholars have access to exclusive internships through the Crankstart Internship Programme, as well as one-to-one careers and internship support and advice. The Careers Mentoring Programme matches Crankstart Scholars with an experienced professional in an industry/sector which the student is personally interested in pursuing.
Once matched, mentors and mentees are expected to meet four times over 6 months either online or in-person at the mentors place of work. Mentors and mentees are supported throughout this time by the Careers Mentoring Team at the Internship Office.
