Studentships available on reopened courses
A curated list of funded research projects on courses reopened only for studentship applications. A studentship provides funding for students working on a specific project.
Studentship projects
Studentship funding is normally provided by an organisation such as a Research Council or through a combination of funds from an academic department, college or external body.
Funded studentships usually offer either full or fees-only financial support to pursue research for a named project or area of study
The projects listed below are available on courses that closed to applications earlier in the admission cycle. Each course has reopened only to accept applications for the advertised studentship(s). The project page will provide details of how to apply for the specific studentship.
Currently, no courses that have reopened to accept only studentship applications.
Other studentships and funding
Other studentships may be available for courses that are still accepting applications. Please refer to the funding information on the relevant department's website, which is accessible via the course page.
More information about Oxford scholarships and external funding can be found in our Fees and Funding pages.
