Brand and Design team

The Brand and Design team provides advice and support on applying the University’s visual identity. Contact the team if you have questions about the brand or need guidance on complex applications.

Protecting the logo, approvals and permissions

The University logo is a legally protected asset and must be used correctly and consistently. External use of the University logo requires formal approval. If external use of the logo is required, please read the rules and restrictions detailed at on our Protecting the logo section. Any third-party use of the logo will firstly need consideration from the department involved in accordance with the details on that page.

Image library guidance

The University Image Library is the primary source of images for Oxford communications and should be used wherever possible. It provides a wide range of approved images that reflect the University’s diversity and authenticity. If you cannot find suitable imagery, you can contact the team to discuss commissioning new photos or contribute your own images to the library.
