Ophthalmological Research Endowment Fund

The Curators of the University Chest shall be authorized to expend the income of the Fund for the Endowment of Ophthalmological Research on purposes connected with Ophthalmological Research under the direction of the General Board, provided that the first charge on the income shall be the excess (if any) of the agreed contribution to the costs of posts in the Nuffield Laboratory of Ophthalmology over that available from the Nuffield Fund for Research in Ophthalmology under the provisions of Ch. IX, Sect. I, § 251, cl. 2.
