Cairns Memorial Fund

To commemorate the work of Sir Hugh Cairns, late Nuffield Professor of Surgery in the University, £2,700 annually from the Nuffield Medical Benefaction shall, together with any donations that may be received, be paid into the Sir Hugh Cairns Memorial Fund, which shall be administered by the Board of the Faculty of Clinical Medicine, to assist research in neurology and neurosurgery in the Medical School.
