Meeting the academic standard for your course is an essential part of applying to Oxford. Requirements vary between subjects and may include specific grades, subjects or additional assessments. Alongside detailed information for UK and international applicants, a summary table provides an overview of typical entry requirements, while individual course pages set out the specific expectations for each subject. For guidance on the application process itself, including key deadlines and what to expect at each stage, refer to the Guide for Applicants.
As well as meeting our academic requirements for undergraduate study, international applicants must also ensure they meet any relevant English language and visa requirements. If you are offered a place, you will need to show the correct level of proficiency by 31 July in the year you receive your offer.
