About the college
Worcester College was founded in 1714 and is famous for its beautiful gardens and grounds, covering 26 acres. As the only Oxford college with a sports field on its main campus, Worcester students enjoy excellent sporting facilities. The college also has strong musical and theatrical traditions.
Worcester aims to be a forward-looking college, a home for academic excellence, and a place where every student feels valued and respected. The college is committed to equality, inclusion and freedom of speech, and offers funding for student initiatives which help to connect its diverse community.
The graduate Middle Common Room (MCR) at Worcester is the place to meet like-minded researchers and make new friends through regular social, cultural and academic gatherings.
