Welfare support
The vacations at Oxford are time for personal development, engaging in self-directed study, and rest. However, they are also times when challenges may occur. While Student Welfare and Support Services close from Monday 23 December to Wednesday 1 January inclusive, there are other options to access welfare support. You may want to bookmark the University’s list of emergency and out-of-hours contact information, and also read the Service's blog about vacation self-care.
IT support
If you get a new phone over Christmas, set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) on it before returning to Oxford. Proactively setting up a second method on a different device will ensure you can always access your accounts. For IT help during the holidays check out the Christmas IT support calendar, which sets out support arrangements between 20 December and 2 January.
