College timetables

Our colleges are at the heart of the Oxford student experience and visiting colleges is a great way to get an understanding of what sets Oxford apart from other universities. All undergraduates are a member of a college. If events become full, priority is given to prospective students.

Below are the college timetables for our July 2026 Open Days. Most events are drop in and don't require pre-booking; any sessions which require advance booking are labelled.

Subject sessionsThese sessions are offered by some colleges, and will usually be a short talk about a particular course delivered by a tutor, with an opportunity to ask questions.

Families, supporters and teachers talk/Q&AThese often run alongside events which are only available to prospective students. They will cover topics that are often of concern to supporters, such as welfare support, finances and accommodation, as well as information on admissions.

Subject department timetables

Oxford students are not only members of a college, but also of a subject department. Depending on the course you choose, you would usually have your lectures and do any laboratory work in your department with students from other colleges.
