Interested in postgraduate study? Curious about what it would be like to do research at Oxford?

Applications are now open for UNIQ+, a six-week summer school aimed at students who would find it challenging to progress to postgraduate study for financial or socio-economic reasons.

UNIQ+ is free to take part in and includes a £2,500 stipend, plus free accommodation in an Oxford college. It will give you the opportunity to experience postgraduate research at Oxford by carrying out a research project, and a chance to meet our staff and student community.

Students can claim a 20% discount off all talks at this year’s festival from 30 March to 7 April, which will once again welcome a wealth of authors to the city.

The festival offers something for all ages and interests. Categories include art, business, current affairs, children’s literature, engineering, fashion, environment, gardening, philanthropy, satire, science, technology, wildlife and women in society – to name just a few.

The Oxford Hub has lots of exciting volunteering opportunities working with young people; such as Weekend Activity days, Sport mentoring, 1-1 mentoring and a huge range of early years provision, working with an overall age range of 0-16 years.

When the sunny spring days still feel a little cold, it’s tempting to avoid heading out, but keep cycling around Oxford and you won’t just be staying fit, protecting the planet and helping brush away the winter – you’ll also have the chance to win great prizes.

The University’s Environmental Sustainability team have more than 100 prizes to give away, from bike seat covers and extra lights to warm snoods and five goodie bags with t-shirts and mugs.

This is a chance to celebrate those teachers and support staff who have really gone the extra mile to improve your experience at Oxford.

Once a term, the Clubs Committee meets and makes awards to clubs and societies who have applied for funding.

Last term, funding was granted to various clubs, including the Oxford University Polish Society, who were awarded £1,000 towards the organisation of a formal hall in college to mark Independence Day. The event was attended by several Polish dignitaries.

Financial support is available to Oxford undergraduates thanks to the regional Oxonian alumni group network.
