Degree ceremonies to restart from September 2021

The University has confirmed that degree ceremonies are planned to resume from September 2021.

The exact dates and format of the ceremonies are still to be confirmed, and we are currently working through the details. A separate event will also take place in July for medical students who need to have their degrees conferred before working in the NHS.

Given the disruption due to the pandemic, rescheduled degree ceremonies will have to be modified from their current form – but we will aim to keep the existing format as much as possible.

More information about the new ceremonies will follow in the near future, and you will be invited to a ceremony as soon as possible. No action is required at this stage.

For more information, please refer to the degree ceremonies page on the Oxford Students website.
