Improving your Oxford experience: Student surveys

The University runs a number of surveys throughout the academic year which include university-wide surveys, surveys within your college, your department or about your course or a specific service provided to you. We work closely with Oxford SU to design and run these and analyse the results. Your feedback is always important to help evaluate and improve the student experience for current and future students.

Current Surveys

There are two surveys taking place this term for students, giving you an opportunity to share your views about studying here:

Michaelmas term teaching and learning survey for taught students
We want to get a better understanding of your studying and experiences of student life during the pandemic and this is the final week to have your say in the Michaelmas term teaching and learning survey before it closes on 18 December. All taught students can access the survey via the personalised link emailed to your University account, to tell us how this term has really been going for you. A separate survey for postgraduate research students will follow in Hilary term.

Survey closes: 18 December 2020.

Student Barometer survey for all students
By now you will have also received a link to the Student Barometer survey to your University email account. This is an annual survey, and this year questions have been included to specifically reflect this academic year as a result of the pandemic.

Survey closes: 31 January 2021.

The deadlines for both surveys are fast approaching, so please complete them as soon as you can. Your feedback from both surveys will be treated confidentially and will be used by colleges, departments, faculties and central University services to help improve student experience at Oxford now and in the future.
