Brettschneider Fund Awards

The Brettschneider Fund provides opportunities for study, work and travel between Cornell University and the University of Oxford. The awards are designed to promote academic exchange and are currently open to the staff and students of four colleges: Merton, New, Nuffield, and Pembroke.

This award was set up following a gift from Mr Michael Borkan to enhance links between the universities of Oxford and Cornell.

Value:Various. Applicants will need to provide a budget for travel and living expenses which will be used when calculating any award
Number:Usually five to seven awards available

Fee status:All
Level of study:Undergraduate, graduate and staff (academic and professional)
Year of study:All years; final year students must indicate clearly why their proposed period abroad will be directly relevant to their studies at this stage
Subject:All subjects
Colleges:Merton, New, Nuffield and Pembroke
