The University of Oxford is currently home to more than 200 full-degree undergraduates from North America. We seek to recruit the most academically gifted students from the region.
Our students receive an intensive education, including our distinctive tutorials, and are taught by academic leaders in their field. Colleges provide multidisciplinary communities within which students are supported and intellectually challenged, and have the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and many different countries.
Our activity in your area
The Student Recruitment Team visit North America in Spring and Fall to provide information, advice and guidance to students, parents and counsellors wishing to find out more about studying at our institution. For more information, click on the links below. Our activity in the region centres around delivering dedicated information sessions and attending college fairs. When available, we may also be able to make individual appointments or Skype presentations.
Canada Tour: Taking place in three provinces, these information sessions are open to anyone in the region considering studying at Oxford at an undergraduate level. For details of where we visited in Spring 2016 Tour, please see our Canada Tour page.
US Fairs: We attend a number of college fairs in Washington DC and New York in late April. Check with your school to see if we are scheduled to attend your fair. We may also be able to arrange an individual appointment outside of the fairs, please email email@example.com to register your interest.
US Tour: The US Tour is delivered in conjunction with the University of Edinburgh each September. We visit major cities on the East and West Coasts and in the South, asking one school to act as a host for the local area. Students, parents and counsellors can find out more about studying in the UK in general and at both institutions in particular. To see where we are visiting this Fall, please visit US Tour 2016.
National Association of College Admissions Counsellors: The US Tour in September often concludes with us attending the NACAC Conference. In 2016 we will be delivering a session on admission to competitive UK universities at this conference. When we attend the conference, we exhibit at the College Counsellors' Fair at NACAC, so please do stop by our booth.
