The University of Oxford is currently home to more than 200 full-degree undergraduates from North America. We seek to recruit the most academically gifted students from the region.
Our students receive an intensive education, including our distinctive tutorials, and are taught by academic leaders in their field. Colleges provide multidisciplinary communities within which students are supported and intellectually challenged, and have the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and many different countries.
Our activity in your area
The Student Recruitment Team visit North America in Spring and Fall to provide information, advice and guidance to students, parents and counsellors wishing to find out more about studying at our institution. For more information, click on the links below. Our activity in the region centres around delivering dedicated information sessions and attending college fairs. When available, we may also be able to make individual appointments or Skype presentations.
Canada Tour: Taking place in three provinces, these information sessions are open to anyone in the region considering studying at Oxford at an undergraduate level. For details of where we visited in Spring 2017 Tour, please see our Canada Tour page.
US Fairs: We usually attend a number of college fairs in Washington DC and New York in late April. Check with your school to see if we are scheduled to attend your fair. We may also be able to arrange an individual appointment outside of the fairs, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest.
Unfortunately due to staff changeover Oxford will be unable to embark on a US tour this fall 2017, as we have done in previous years alongside the University of Edinburgh.
Edinburgh will still be going ahead with their tour and this year will be joined by King’s College London. To book your places on this tour please visit the University of Edinburgh website, however please be aware that Oxford will not be represented.
