Year 12 Virtual Study Days

Somerville College is hosting a series of Study Days in the February half term (22nd-25th February 2022). These are open to all Year 12 students currently at a UK state school or college. If demand for places is high, priority will be given to students from more disadvantaged backgrounds (please see the UNIQ selection criteria as reference for how we will prioritise).

Each afternoon will centre around academic taster sessions, led by Oxford academics and tutors, in various subjects. Each will offer a challenging and entertaining introduction to university-level study of the subject.

Timetable:
4:00-4:30pm: Welcome & Admissions Talk
4.40-5.40pm: Academic Taster Session
5.40-6.00pm: Subject Q&A with tutor & student ambassadors
6:00-6:30pm: Plenary Q&A with Access Officer, Admissions Tutor & Student Ambassadors
