Students will have the opportunity to choose two subject lectures to attend from the following:

• Lecture 1: ‘What is Close Reading?’ (English) OR ‘The American Dream’ (History)

• Lecture 2: ‘Social reality in Ancient Egypt’ (Egyptology) OR ‘An Introduction to Czech: Cold War Pop and Politics’ (Modern Languages)*

*Suitable for students interested in any modern language offered at Oxford. Also suitable for students interested in learning a language from scratch ('ab initio').
