This residential English Study Day is designed to give students from non-selective UK state schools who are considering applying to competitive universities an insight into what life and study is like at an Oxford college. The Study Day will include a series of academic taster sessions and the opportunity to speak to current Oxford undergraduate students.

On the first day of the residential, students will arrive at Oriel College in the afternoon, enjoying activities led by Student Ambassadors and the Oriel College Outreach team in the evening. The second day will consist of various academic taster activities led by university academics and outreach professionals. Students may only apply to one of our Study Days, and should be considering pursuing one of the subjects discussed during the Study Day at university level.

All expenses (accommodation at Oriel, meals, and activities) are funded thanks to the generosity of an Oxford alumnus. Reasonable public transport travel costs to Oxford to attend a Study Day will also be reimbursed. For further information about what travel costs will be reimbursed, please contact Carys Owen, Outreach Manager, at [email protected].

The deadline to apply for this year’s Study Days is 11:45pm on Sunday 15 February.
