Keble College, Oxford and Clare College, Cambridge are looking forward to working together to engage more state schools in Coventry and Warwickshire.

Schools and colleges in this area are always welcome to get in touch to find out more about what their linked Oxford & Cambridge colleges are able to offer, and are also encouraged to get their students involved in some of our larger initiatives, like the West Midlands Webinars series for Year 12 students. To kickstart our collaborative work in Coventry & Warwickshire, Keble & Clare Colleges will be offering webinars for Year 10 students and teachers/school support staff:

Wednesday 3rd November, 5-6pm: Aspiring Futures – for Year 10 students: an overview of the benefits of studying at a top university, the features of studying at Oxford and Cambridge, and how to start building the right skills to get you there. This session is targeted at high achieving students (typically predicted 7-9 in most GCSE subjects) who might be interested in studying academic subjects in the future. We will aim to debunk myths about Oxford and Cambridge, answer lots of questions, and provide plenty of encouragement for the future!

The session will be delivered jointly by academic and outreach staff from both universities. As it takes place outside of the school day, students and their parents/carers should register independently and will receive joining instructions ahead of the webinar.
