Women in Science 2022

NOTE: THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION FOR THIS EVENT IS 12 NOON ON FRIDAY 13TH MAY 2022.

This Women in Science (WiS) 2022 programme will run in Oxford on Friday 17th June. Up to 100 participants will experience STEM-focused taster lectures, attend admissions sessions, visit the colleges and meet current women undergraduate scientists at Oxford. The Programme is FREE OF CHARGE. Lunch will be provided and reasonable travel costs for the participant will be reimbursed after the event. Full T&Cs will be provided to successful applicants nearer the time.

Applicants MUST fulfil the following criteria to be eligible to apply:

1) The Programme is open to female and non-binary students.

2) Applicants must be year 12 students studying at a state school in one of the following UK areas:

Bedfordshire.
Cambridgeshire.
London: Barking and Dagenham, Hackney, Havering, Islington, Lambeth, Luton, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth.
Milton Keynes.
Northeast of England: Cleveland, Darlington, Durham, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar, Stockton on Tees.
Oxfordshire.
Wales: all regions.
