Keble, Oriel & University Colleges are collaborating with colleagues at Cambridge to present a series of webinars for Year 12 students in the West Midlands this autumn.

Bringing together expertise from across the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, the West Midlands Webinars 2021 will provide students with a detailed picture of Oxbridge admissions and student life, providing practical up-to-date advice for students targeting a place at Oxbridge. The series of four online sessions is designed for Year 12 students at state schools or sixth form colleges in the West Midlands.

The webinars will cover various aspects of the Oxford and Cambridge application process as well as preparing for student-life. During the webinars participants will hear from admissions staff, academics, and current undergraduates from a variety of Oxbridge colleges, including Keble. The webinars are suitable for any student hoping to apply to competitive universities (not just Oxbridge).

If you’re an ambitious, curious and high-achieving student (aiming to achieve above AAA at A Level or equivalent), then these webinars will be a great start for your university journey.

The webinars will be held fortnightly from Thursday 7th October to 18th November, from 5-6.30pm. The programme will be as follows:

Thursday 7th October: Webinar 1: An Introduction to Oxford & Cambridge
Thursday 21st October: Webinar 2: Oxford & Cambridge: A Student's Perspective
Thursday 4th November: Webinar 3: Applying to Oxford & Cambridge
Thursday 18 October: Webinar 4: Competitive Applications: Preparing in Year 12

To be able to access all four webinars live, students need to register no later than Monday 4th October. The application form can be found here. Please contact [email protected] if you have any further questions.
