Uncover Engineering for Girls

Oxford University's Department of Engineering Science is hosting our Uncover Engineering Programme once again in 2026.

One of the cohorts will be for girls in Year 10 (or equivalent) at UK state schools, of any ethnicity or background who have an interest in engineering.

Uncover Engineering provides a 3-night residential experience at Oxford University. Students will be accommodated at an Oxford college and learn about what life is like as a student at Oxford.

During the days there will be engineering-related workshops and information, including on studying Engineering Science at university.

There is no charge for this programme; food and accommodation will be provided. There is also the possibility of financial support with travel costs, which will be assessed on an individual basis.

The application deadline is 5pm on 31 December 2025.
