The Catz Academic Taster Days are a fantastic opportunity aimed at Year 11-13 students (or equivalent) to explore a specific subject area, meet tutors and current students, experience a taste of academic teaching at Oxford, and find out more about studying at university.

Attendees to the STEM Day at Catz this year will attend two academic taster sessions with academics at St Catherine's College from a range of choices, including:

  • Human Sciences
  • Medicine
  • Maths
  • Biology
  • Computer Science
  • Materials Science
  • Psychology (TBC)

All events are free to attend, including any refreshments or lunch.

We prioritise students from UK state schools and our link region of Wales.

This event runs concurrently with the Bright Matter In-Person Taster Day, so if you are already attending, you do not need to book again.

The deadline for applications is midday on Monday 27 April. Please note that we are only accepting applications for this Taster Day from women and non-binary applicants.

For further information and to apply, please visit the Catz website.
