Introduction and overview of course (Prof. Philip Bullock)

PARALLEL SESSIONS:
11.30 am Students: Group discussions with members of the Sub-Faculty and undergraduates of various colleges.

11.30 am Companions/teachers: Parallel discussion of issues of interest with Dr Jennifer Baines (Knowles Room, Wadham College)

12.15 pm Students, Teachers and Companions: Taster session designed to introduce prospective applicants to the study of language and literature at Oxford, including beginners’ Russian (Lee Shau Kee Seminar Room)
Mini-lecture: Prof. Catriona Kelly, ‘Russian Literature: Where are all the Women?’
Mini-lecture: Prof. Rajendra Chitnis, ‘Picking a Side in the Cold War: The Case of Two Czech Pop Stars'

1.00 pm End of formal programme. Visitors will be free to explore the city and the colleges independently.
