This course, which runs over the summer, is designed to improve your physics and maths problem-solving skills and help you prepare for the Physics Aptitude Test. It consists of two study days on Saturday 27th June and Saturday 10th October, with three online assignments set over the summer. Participants are supported throughout by a mentor who is a current Oxford student.

You can apply online now at www.physics.ox.ac.uk/PATprep2020 - and the deadline is 09:00 on Monday 18th May.

This course is for current year 12 students from state-funded schools, academies and colleges, who are interested in applying to study Physics, Physics and Philosophy, Engineering or Materials Science – i.e. it is intended for students who are thinking of sitting the Oxford Physics Admissions Test in November 2020. Priority will be given to students from typically under-represented or traditionally disadvantaged backgrounds, especially those attending schools with little or no history of successful applications to the University of Oxford to study Physics, Engineering or Materials Science.
