North East Teachers' Conference
St Anne's, Trinity and Lincoln colleges will be running a free residential conference for teachers who have responsibility for, or a role in, the UCAS application process and/or supporting candidates to make an application to Oxbridge or other selective universities. Free transport is offered by coach with pick-up points in central Newcastle and Darlington.
Teachers will stay for two nights in college accommodation and have all meals catered for, including a welcome dinner with Trinity’s President, Dame Hilary Boulding. Trinity College's Head of Access, Hannah Rolley, will run sessions covering the Oxford application process, what makes a competitive application, the personal statement, the teacher reference and useful enrichment activities, alongside Q&A sessions. Where possible, teachers will also attend events in their subject department during the Open Day and have opportunities to attend mock interview sessions.

Should this event be oversubscribed, priority will be given to teachers from schools with low progression to HE/Oxbridge.
