We invite KS3 students to celebrate 2019 as the International Year of the Periodic Table with workshops, practical sessions in our new undergraduate teaching laboratory, and a chemistry science show.

Draft programme:
9.30-10am - arrive and register
10-10.50 - classroom workshop - building the periodic table
break
11-11.50 - making an aluminium air battery
break
12-12.50 - what's in the water?
lunch
