Corpus Christi College and The Queen's College, Oxford are holding an Introduction to Classics Lecture and Q&A event for interested students in Years 11, 12 and 13 attending state schools in the North West for the launch of this year's Ancient Worlds Network.

The session will consist of:

  1. Introduction to studying Classics and Humanities degrees at Oxford from Corpus Christi and Queen's outreach teams;
  2. Taster lecture delivered by Prof Giuseppe Pezzini, 'Catullus' contradictions: Unity and Diversity in the Libellus'
  3. Q&A with current Corpus Christi and Queen's undergraduate students

We particularly encourage students with no formal Classics education to sign up for this session. It is open to all students in Year 11 and above, and you do not need any prior knowledge to be able to attend; just a curious mind and a desire to learn a bit more about the Ancient Worlds!

Please only sign up for this event if you attend a state school in the North West. If you are unsure whether your school is in the North West, you can see if it is listed on our Oxford for North West regional outreach page.

The form will close on Tuesday 20 January at 12pm.
