International Women in Engineering Day
The Oxford University Women in Engineering Society are hosting a day for female students to come to Oxford University and explore the possibility of a future degree in Engineering.
The day will include academic taster sessions in Engineering, a talk with the Oxford University Women in Engineering Society, and lunch within the University.
The day is open for female students in Year 12 (or equivalent) at UK state-funded sixth form colleges. Participants must be studying subjects which allow progression onto an Engineering course at university.
We have a maximum number of visitors we can take, and if the day is over-subscribed, we will prioritise those applicants who are at schools with a history of low progression to Oxford or Cambridge University and who live in the least advantaged areas based on the UK IMD index.
There is no charge for this event, and financial support towards travel costs may be offered to those applicants who require it.
This day will be held in person at our site in Oxford between 11:00 and 15:30.
The deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 2 June.
