These events are aimed at Year 12 students, but are open to anyone who is interested in the humanities. This year’s programme of talks is as follows:

  • Tuesday 11th February: The FBI Rebranded — From Espionage to Serial Killers
  • Monday 24th February: Balancing Security and Liberty in Law
  • Tuesday 4th March: The (Not So) Cold War
  • Wednesday 5th March: Rights, Responsibilities and Rebellion — The UK’s Evolving Relationship with the European Convention on Human Rights
  • Monday 10th March: Myths, Facts and Fiction: Reading Medieval Iceland through History and Literature
  • Monday 17th March: Cold War Apocalyptic

All talks will take place online from 3:30-4:30pm. There is no limit to the number of talks that students can attend. The sessions also will be recorded and uploaded at a later date.
