Discover Computer Science

Discover Computer Science is a sustained engagement programme for Year 11 Black and Mixed-Black females from UK state schools, led by Oxford’s Computer Science Department and Christ Church.

The programme consists of four online sessions, with an in-person graduation day at the Department of Computer Science and Christ Church, Oxford. It offers a beyond the school curriculum insight bringing together theory with interactive exploration.

This programme is teacher nominated. Teachers, if you would like to nominate students for the Discover Computer Science programme, please complete the short online nomination form on the Department of Computer Science website by 24 October 2025.
