Connect - ‘How to... prepare for admissions tests and interviews‘
St Hugh’s Connect is an online engagement project which has been running since 2021, consisting of one-hour Q&As led by current undergraduates. Sessions take place every two weeks during key stages of the UCAS and Oxbridge application processes. During these sessions, students have the opportunity to talk directly to St Hugh’s current undergraduates about various aspects of the application process; to receive some top tips on preparing a competitive application; and also to hear about the undergraduate experience from a range of authentic student voices. Each session focuses on a different theme and students are welcome to attend as many or as few as they like. The sessions are aimed at Sixth Formers in state education.
The 19 July session is on what the Oxford admissions tests are for, how they are used as part of the application process, what to expect, and how to prepare. In this session we will also tackle interview preparation as well as explain what Oxbridge interviews are like.
