Explore one of Keble’s courses in depth and make an informed decision about what you would like to study at university

At Keble, we are looking forward to hosting four in-person Year 12 Subject Taster Days in Oxford in February 2023. These immersive, academically-focused events are designed to support state school students in Year 12 in making informed decisions about their studies. Taster Days in Maths, History, Chemistry and Modern Languages (French & Spanish) will offer information about the courses; insight into research, teaching, and career progression; hands-on application advice; and the opportunity to meet Keble tutors and students who share your interests.

Each student can only select and apply for one subject taster day. Please note that places are limited. We aim to choose students who have potential to make a competitive application to Oxford and who will most benefit from the events. The college will consider information such as GCSE results and predicted grades, and may consider educational and socio-economic background, using similar categories to the contextual data which is used in the Oxford admissions process. In case of over-subscription the College may also have to limit the number of attendees per school, and prioritise spaces for schools in our link regions.

Support is available for attendees’ travel expenses. For any questions contact [email protected].

Each Subject Taster Day will run from 10:00-15:00. Below find a provisional programme for the subject taster days, along with an application form link. A full, confirmed programme for each day will be sent to participating students.
