Organised in association with the University of Oxford’s African and Caribbean Society (ACS), the English Faculty and Magdalen College are running an event specifically for Year 12 school students of African and/or Caribbean heritages, and we would like to encourage you to apply.

We are looking for students who are academically talented, passionate about English and want to come to Oxford University for the day to learn more about what it’s like to study here.

The event will take place in Oxford on Monday 15th April, 11am-4pm, and will comprise of three academic sessions involving five English tutors, a library workshop, lunch at Magdalen College, and an interactive Q & A session. There will be lots of friendly student ambassadors at the event, including representatives from the ACS for you to talk to, and we’d encourage you to ask as many questions as you like!

If you are studying English Literature, or the combined English Language and Literature course and are predicated to achieve 3 As or above at A Level (or equivalent) we would love to hear from you.
