Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach - Outreach Ambassador & International Ambassador Applications

The Undergraduate Admissions & Outreach department run events and projects throughout the year and the most important aspect of being able to facilitate these events are current university students who act as UAO Student Ambassadors (both as Outreach Ambassadors and as International Student Ambassadors).

Scroll down the page to see the application form.

For any prospective applicants, Student Ambassadors are fantastic role models, they provide motivation and inspiration through their own experiences, and they are seen a trusted source of information about what studying at Oxford is like.

UAO recruit student ambassadors each academic year. This year we will have an ambassador scheme for domestic events (any student can be an ambassador for these events) and an ambassador scheme for international student events (you must be an international student to be on this scheme).

Ambassador recruitment is a competitive process that includes:

  • Completing an application alongside the expectations from the Student Ambassador job description
  • Taking part in an assessment centre
  • Completing training provided by UAO (both an online training course and in-person skills training)

Being a Student Ambassador is a paid role (hourly rate varies depending on the role you undertake).

Thank you for your interest in becoming an outreach ambassador. Applications are now closed for the 2021/22 academic year, please contact us at ambassadors@admin.ox.ac.uk if you have any questions.

You will find the Outreach and International Ambassador job description documents top right of this page.
