Ten point plan
The University’s Ten Point Plan for Excellence with Impact in Biosciences Research:
Foster and support research groups and networks that promote collaborations and engagement with end-users
- Expand industrial sponsorship / collaborative projects
- Encourage researchers to create / record impact from research
- Support researchers to inform and influence public policy
- Facilitate knowledge exchange between university biosciences researchers and research users
- Encourage sharing of expertise on creating impact from science
- Encourage projects that relate to national & international policy priorities
- Increase the opportunities for early and mid-career researchers to work in non-academic settings
- Encourage external organisations to engage with our DTP programme and provide experience for our doctoral students
- Develop ways for boundaries to become permeable, facilitating engagement with external partners.
