Ten point plan

The University’s Ten Point Plan for Excellence with Impact in Biosciences Research:

1. Foster and support research groups and networks that promote collaborations and engagement with end-users
2. Expand industrial sponsorship / collaborative projects
3. Encourage researchers to create / record impact from research
4. Support researchers to inform and influence public policy
5. Facilitate knowledge exchange between university biosciences researchers and research users
6. Encourage sharing of expertise on creating impact from science
7. Encourage projects that relate to national & international policy priorities
8. Increase the opportunities for early and mid-career researchers to work in non-academic settings
9. Encourage external organisations to engage with our DTP programme and provide experience for our doctoral students
10. Develop ways for boundaries to become permeable, facilitating engagement with external partners.
