International students
Many of our graduate students are international, and have never lived and studied in the UK before. We know that Oxford might be a long way from home, but there’s plenty of support available to help you settle in, and lots of ways to meet other students and get involved in the life of the University. Visit our international applicants section to find out more about applying as an international student.
If you’re new to Oxford, you might come across some new terms—like ‘subfusc’, ‘vac’, and ‘DPhil’. The University’s glossary of Oxford terminology can help you to make sense of it.
