Get expert careers guidance and support

In this time of change, you may find yourself with opportunities to think about your career, or feel prompted to give it more attention. At the same time, uncertainty about how Covid-19 will affect the job market (and global economy) may feel confusing or worrying.

The Oxford University Careers Service is here to support you with any matter related to your thinking about future study or work – these may not be “traditional” careers questions. Expert Careers Advisers  can talk these things through with you and, wherever helpful, signpost you to others with further relevant knowledge or services.  Do  book a Short or Long Discussion  even if just to chat about ideas, or air some concerns.

The Internship Office continues to advertise remote internships on  Career Connect through theMicro-Internship Programme. The programme offers short placements of 2-5 days in a variety of sectors in 9th or 10th week of Trinity, and is now open for applications until Monday 11 May.

The Service is also offering a wide range of resources on its  website, and has published a busy term planner of  careers events, advice sessions and skills development programmes, all delivered online.
