Oxford University Gazette
The University Gazette, which has been published continuously since 1870, is the authorised journal of record of the University of Oxford. The Gazette is published weekly throughout the academic year except during vacations.

Publication dates and deadlines
The Gazette is published on Thursdays during term. The usual deadline for submitting copy for each issue is noon on Wednesday of the week before publication (ie eight days before publication).

Gazette publication arrangements
The final issue of the Gazette for 2015–16 has been published on 21 July. The first Gazette of Michaelmas term will be published on 22 September, but will be limited to Council and Congregation business and changes to examination regulations. The first full Gazette of next term will be published on 29 September.
A revised Information Security Policy and Strategic Plan are published as a supplement with this week's Gazette.
