Oxford University Gazette
The University Gazette, which has been published continuously since 1870, is the authorised journal of record of the University of Oxford.
The Gazette is published weekly throughout the academic year (September to July) but not continuously over the vacations. A series of supplements is also published, giving further official information.
The latest issue can be found here: www.ox.ac.uk/gazette/2014-2015.
Appointment of the next Vice-Chancellor: Consultation
Professor Andrew Hamilton, FRS, completes his term in office as Vice-Chancellor in September 2016 and the Nominating Committee for the Vice-Chancellorship has now begun the process to identify his successor. To inform its early deliberations, the committee wishes to consult widely. For full details, see the notice in this week's Gazette.
Gazette distribution changes
From the start of Hilary term 2015, we are changing the way in which deliveries of the Gazette are managed. This also affects the other publications delivered alongside the Gazette. For full details, see the notice in the 23 October Gazette.
