Introduction to Drop Spinning with Wool Workshop

This practical workshop will begin with a gallery tour and handling session looking at spinning methods and artefacts. This session will be repeated on 26 Apr 2026

You will then have the opportunity to make your own spindle and learn the basics of spinning using heritage breed fleece.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about yarn plying and explore projects that can be done using a small amount of hand-spun yarn. All materials will be provided.
