Shaping the future of AI and human rights
The event will feature Yuval Shany, former Chair of the UN Human Rights Committee and Inaugural Accelerator Fellow at the Institute for Ethics in AI, who will make the case for a new bill to address critical gaps in existing international human rights law.
The White Paper outlines seven foundational rights for the age of AI, including: the right to access AI, privacy protections, anti-bias and fairness, algorithmic transparency, freedom from manipulation, meaningful human decision-making and interaction, and accountability for the use of AI.
