Dinosaur Plants Family Day

Join us at Harcourt Arboretum for a day of fun activities and find out about the trees and plants that grew alongside the dinosaurs.

Families will have the chance to explore paleobotany, ancient plants and their fossils, and take a closer look at mosses, ferns, ginkgo and conifers. You will also be able to see and learn more about some very special plant fossils from the Oxford University Museum of Natural History Earth Collections.

We will have dino-themed arts and crafts and lots of sensory activities and messy play to enjoy.

Please note that the activities take place outside so we recommend that you dress for the weather. Bring your picnic blanket and lunch along too!
