Professor Neil Richards (Washington University in St Louis), speaking on "Why Privacy Matters"

Why Privacy Matters was published in December 2021 and is the culmination of decades of work from one of the leading privacy scholars in the USA. It addresses what privacy is, and what it isn't, along with why privacy matters. It particularly analyses the core values of identity, freedom, protection and trust that privacy protects, and dispels numerous myths about privacy. Professor Richards will present on the book, and answer questions in this special event in Oxford. All are welcome.
